About the Area

The campsite itself borders the coastal salt marsh and sandy beach. Ideal for paddle boarding and wild swimming in the creeks and a safe sandy beach with creeks to splash/paddle and swim for little ones.

Stiffkey village hosts a local store, the Red Lion Pub, a childrens’ playground and playing field, all within walking distance of the campsite.

Much of the North Norfolk coast is designated as an area of outstanding beauty, and Stiffkey is uniquely placed in such an area.

The coastal marsh is a haven for wildlife and attracts a rich variety of migrating birds as well as being home to any number of indigenous species.

There are a wealth of footpaths and long distance trails in North Norfolk. The Norfolk Coastal Path passes through Stiffkey from Hunstanton on its way to Cromer making our campsite an ideal stop for walkers.

Liked: The check-in was very easy, helpful and friendly and I felt perfectly welcome as a solo female camper. The facilities were large and clean. I really liked the location right on the Norfolk Coastal Path - very easy to walk to Wells and back, and also to the village centre in the evening for a pint at the Red Lion pub.
